If you want to know a little more about me, please read this:

I have a work and holiday visa. It expires in September 2013.

My name is Rebecca Pehrson and I am 19 years old.
I graduated from the Natural Science programme at KTC (Katrineholms Technical College) 16th June 2012. It was hard years of too much studying, so that is why I wanted to take a sabbatical year and leave all behind for a little while. I could't think of a better way spending a year off, than with a warm and loving family across the continent.

My own family consists of my mother Margareta (42 years), my father Andrée (39), my little sister Mikaela (18) and my youngest little sister Felicia (5). We live in a small neighbourhood in Katrineholm (town) around 150 km from the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. We have relatives living all over the country, therefore we travel a lot by both car and train. My father's parents live on the west coast and that is where he is raised. Every summer we go there to visit my grandparents, uncles and aunts (my father has 7 sisters and brothers). We also have a boat so I am used to the sea (/ocean).

Our parents love to go on holidays abroad. We've been in most parts of the world by now. We really appreciate doing things together and relax for a while.

My grandparents (on my mother's side) are from Serbia and that is why I speak a little Serbian. We have a big house down there which we usually visit every summer. We go there by car (or plane) and I am carsick so you could only imagine what my parents put me through. I try to sleep most of the time.

In my free time I like reading books (when I'm not studying of course) and to hang out with my friends. I also play a lot with my dog, his name is Maximus (we call him Max). He's a Chihuahua mixed with Jack Russell and Dwarf Pinscher.

I love being active and I've tried almost everything, e.g. basketball, soccer, gymnastics, ballet, dancing, riding horses etc. The sport I really fell in love with was floorball and I've played it ever since (over nine years now).

I have a CAE, Certificate in Advanced English. Also, I am used to handling kids (especially my youngest little sister). I've taken care of my little sisters and younger cousins my entire life. I have also been working as an intern at my old kindy.
