Dear Aupair, thank for reading our profile. I am a single mum with 5 gorgeous children, boy 15, boy 13, girl 5, boy 3 and girl 1. I am a nurse working night shifts, and I am needing some help with caring for my children and organising the household. Initially I am looking for someone to stay for up to 3 months, however I am very flexible with longer stays also. It can be a little hectic to say the least, but I am hoping you are up to the challenge of helping me raise my children to be well rounded loving, caring and successful adults.

We live in a low set 4 bedroom house, which has two separate living areas. You will have your own bedroom, though you will be sharing a bathroom with the children. There are two Westfield shopping centres within about a 10 min drive and there is a bus stop very close by that goes to major shopping centres, cafes and restaurants, cinemas and also directly into Brisbane City approximately 30-40min by bus.

I am a nurse, and I will be returning to work at the beginning of June. Initially I will be working 3 night shifts a week from 7pm-730am, so you will be the only adult in the house overnight. If I have worked the previous night, you will be required to get the children up, prepare breakfast, make lunches and get them dressed ready for school/daycare.I will try and work 3 consecutive night shifts in a row, so you will be required to care for the 2 little ones at home while I rest between shifts if they are at home during the day. On Mondays the older 3 children attend school and boy 3 and girl 1 go to daycare. On Tuesdays boy 3 goes to daycare and girl 1 stays at home. The little ones are then home during the day for the rest of the week. You will also be required to help me with the occasional meal preparation, housework, helping the older kids with homework, making afternoon snacks, helping with the shopping, taking kids to the park and just being a second pair of adult hands around the house. The older boys are pretty self sufficient, and are a great help around the house as well.

We are looking for a kind, happy, loving person, which my children will look up to as a friend and that we can welcome as part of our family.
