A little more about myself;
I like to have fun! whether that means painting, exploring outside, throwing the frisbee or just running around with kids I can find happiness in many different places. I like to stay optimistic which has remained one of my strongest morals. I'm a people person love to hear different perspectives and opinions but also love to cuddle up with a book or my pastels. I'm always exploring and learning and can't watch tv all day! I need to be outdoors! I come from a very multicultural background which has made me the open minded person I am today. I can't work during the summer due to the strong commitment I have to the kids summer camp but would love to enlighten your childs life the best way I can. After the Au pair program I plan on going back to school or continuing to grow by traveling and volunteering (just need the money!) I'm easy going and very down to earth but kids really energize me. It's like they can just naturally bring it out of me!

I have never been an Au pair but I have a great amount of experience working with kids. For the last two years I have spent my summers in Northern Michigan USA working at a kids summer camp. I would watch over and counsel 400+ kids both male and female ages 6-16 but also had a cabin full of 8 girls that I would live in a housing unit with and counsel much closer, these cabins would change every week as new campers came to camp. My duties included waking up the girls at 7am and walking them to breakfast, life guarding, Cleaning what we call "pee-pee laundry", providing first aid, planning fun activities, making arts and crafts, playing sports and just having fun with kids of all ages! I currently work at my local YMCA life guarding and working in a teen center with kids both male and female ages 10-15. I volunteer visiting the YMCA's childcare once a week to read and play with little ones ages 3-5. I also volunteer coaching basketball at the YMCA kids ages 5-6. I have spent endless hours babysitting for kids and babies as well.
