My name is Mariah, I grew up in a small town with a big family. I am the oldest of six siblings. I have learned greatly from the responsibility I was given as the oldest sibling. I am a psychology major at Fresno Pacific University who loves children. I aspire to be a child psychologist, or a school psychologist. Whether you decide on me as your nanny, I plan to take great efforts into being the best that I know I can be. I work well with children, and am familiar with how the process of childcare is. During the summer of 2012, I served as a nanny in Portugal. The family I discovered was a family from this website. I cared for two children for three months. This experienced helped me grow as a person, and I am ready to take on this responsibly again! I am a friendly person, with strong morals as a Christian woman. I love the Lord, and his love most definitely shines through my personality. I believe that as a nanny, I can get more experience that will suit me well with my future career goals, not only that I'd love to teach children English (for those that live in another Country, and do not know English).

Kindererfahrungen

Aside from caring for my younger six siblings, my childcare experience is excellent. Most recently I was a nanny in Cascais, Portugal for a family that I discovered on this website. I cared for two children five days a week. My responsibilities included reading the children books, taking them outdoors, preparing snacks, cleaning, and encouraging the English language. I was a nanny in Portugal for three months over the summer (2012). This experience had such a great impact on me, and I am well prepared to take on this position again! More experience includes, baby-sitting jobs starting at the age of eleven years old. I took care of a 2 year old, and a 4 year old. Since then I baby-sat frequently for that family. I learned how to keep children busy, I learned how to clean, and clean after the children. I learned how to change a diaper and be responsible by getting the children to bed. At the age fourteen, I took part in the church childcare program. I assisted with a classroom of ten children at the ages of 2-4 years old. I played games with the children, and taught them the importance of Jesus. I have much experience in childcare, currently I am serving as an after school tutor. I help a group of kid’s ages 5-10 years old. I handle these children usually alone, but sometimes I have assistance. I continue to take up small child care jobs, not only because It is a great experience, but because I simply enjoy working with kids.
