Brief an die Gastfamilie

Dear Family,
My name is Olga. I e from Uzbekistan, Tashkent though my nationality is Russian. I am 24 years old. I e from a family of 3-my mother is a teacher of math, father is an engineer, we all live together. I have a brother.He works as a programmer and lives separately.
I am a graduated student with bachelor degree in English Sciences. My specialty is English philology, so at the present time I instruct English to children at school and college, as well as a part-time job I teach teenagers and adults at a Language Center. Moreover, I make oral and written translations of different documents from English to Russian or Uzbek languages, cooperate with foreign panies to assist them in making interpretations during presentations and meetings.
I like my job. I meet different sorts of people. I enjoy working with children, so instruction of English to them is a great pleasure for them as they are very interesting and creative. My job involves working with children of age 7-13. I organize my lessons in a form of different activities that assist to a better language acquisition. We sing, make plays, learn poems, cook and make trips outside. Every time children and I have a lot of fun being together, whenever we participate in any activities, children display their eager and active attitude. It is nice to observe how children make success in English language and I receive a positive feedback from dealing with them. Moreover, I learn many things from them too and I think it is very great.
My first language is Russian and I am fluent in English. Currently I am attending courses in German language; it is very interesting for me as I am fond of foreign languages, so I can speak German well.
Fluency in German will help me to gain better prospects in my job and career.
In a year or two I am planning to pursue my master’s degree in my home country or abroad.
When it es to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As a part of my university studies in child psychology and pedagogies, I spent three month summer period being a volunteer in a summer camp for children. Among others, I and my friends provided free tutoring of English at school to children aged between 5 to 10 years.
I participated in organization recreational indoor and outdoor activities for them: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also went out on picnics and a camping trip. It was a very joyful and useful experience for me.
I have a niece aged 4- Diana. It is my great pleasure being with her, I love her a lot. She is very creative and smart child. When my cousin and his wife are away, I help them to look after her.
We are never bored being together, as Diana is very talented and active child. We play different games, read, learn poems, go to the parks. I teach her how to cook some easy meals, help her in bathing.
Sometimes I provide my assistance in looking after a younger child- Anna, of our neighbor, who has daughters, aged 10 and 16. My responsibilities include preparing meals, doing homework with her, walking outside.
I can fortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.
When it es to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. My passions are art, music and photography.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family which would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 4 to 14 years. Lastly, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to attend day time courses.
