1994 Rafael Bujara - founder of this page- was one of the first applicants who received the special licence for an employment service by the official german employment agency (Agentur für Arbeit). The licence includes, among others, the placement of foreign AuPairs in German host families and of German AuPairs in foreign host families.

 

In 1999 the first AuPair.com portal goes online. Experiences gained during the last 5 years support creating an automatic process, which allows finding the best fitting host family or the best fitting AuPair. The most popular countries are the US, the UK and France.

 

From 2002 the AuPair.com portal is also available in Germany. Due to changes in German law it is now possible to directly place AuPairs, without an approved organistation.

 

In 2005 a new search function is added to the AuPair.com Portal. Searching for a fitting family or AuPair becomes a lot easier.

The familie`s and AuPair`s safety is very important for us. Therefore, all posts are being checked on a daily basis. Unfortunately, unwanted persons register in the database from time to time.
