My name is Traci, and my husband and I are looking for a young, energetic aupair to live with us and enjoy our children with us. Both my husband and I work full-time, so we will require someone with experience that can work on a full-time basis with our children while we are at work. We are looking for someone from Ireland, since my mom is from Ireland, my husband and I have visited many times, and my brother-in-law is from there as well. We currently live in the booming City of Chicago, though we do plan a move to the suburbs of Chicago sometime over the next year or two. We have a separate bedroom that is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, closet and flat screen tv. Our aupair will also have her own bath with working tub and shower.
Job Description
Mike and I are both attorneys and have demanding work schedules. We require our aupair to work Monday through Thursday 7 am until 6 pm and on Fridays 7 am until 2 pm, at a minimum. There will be light travel with work (we travel to and from California and Florida often during the cold winter months), and also some weekend work with the children as the need arises. Sometime due to work schedules, we require work beyond 6 pm on a weekday. Our boys do attend pre-school, which allows some alone time with the baby. There is a lot of walking in the city, so we would like an active nanny that can push a stroller with three kids, and likes to be outdoors and go to parks and the zoo (walking distance). Also, we require an aupair that drives for days that require pick up and drop off in inclement weather.
