We are a very happy and close-knit family of five. Our oldest son, Lenn, turns 10 in November. Our twin boys, Jannes and Mattis turned 8 in October. All three of our sons are very close in age and have a great energetic brotherly bond. There is no shortage of cars, dragons or trains in our home! Along with all the toys, there is a lot of love and action! I (Katrin/Mom) am a gynecologist in an own practice. Marc (dad), works full time in the payment industry in Frankfurt and is required to travel frequently. During COVID-19 he is often busy in his home office. Since we both work full time, our family really relies on the extra assistance of a reliable au pair. Although Marc and I work a lot, our family is always our number one priority and making sure we host an au pair who blends well with our family is very important to us. Our boys are very active and love playing sports, playing games, cooking and trips to the ice cream shop happen frequently :) All three of the boys are in the primary school, which is located near to our home, in Speyer. Lenn will go to secondary School um from August 2021. Our home is located in the old town center of Speyer, very close to all the local shops, restaurants and shopping centers, which are just a walk away. All the major cities, such as Heidelberg, Mannheim and Frankfurt can be easily reached by car or train. We have happily hosted an au pair since Lenn was 1 and our twins were just born. We have had very positive experiences hosting an au pair and are excited to welcome another. Katrin was also an au pair in the US, so I can relate to the au pair perspective.

Every day is different in our family and we need someone who will be able to adjust to our constantly changing schedule. Since no two days are exactly the same, we need to have an au pair we can count on to be a consistent figure in our home. We are expecting a trustworthy, responsible and engaged au pair primarily working and enjoying action with our young sons. It is EXTREMELY important to us to have and au pair who is STRAIGHT and SENSITIVE to their needs :) A hands-on attitude is what we need so that we keep our household an enjoyable place to be.
