Dear hostfamily
My name is Rikje, I am 19 years old and I come from Germany. I have always been fond of children in every age as I love to play and take care of my cousins which are 10 and 8 years younger than me. Furthermore I did some babysitting when I was on my student exchange in New Zealand, chistchurch for a half year. I took care of two lovely babyboys who were 11 and 14 month old. However I would also like to bring your children to their nursery or school but unfortunatly just by train, metro or bus as I don’t have my driving lessons jet.
Besides I am a music fan as I have been singing in a choir for 11 years now, started to play guitar and enjoy to sing with my 15 years old sister when she plays the piano. It would be great fun to sing with your children too!
At last I am also aware how to teach as I give some lessons in English to a 12 years old girl to help her in school. Eventhough my English ain’t perfect it works out quite well.
My hobbies are as I said, to sing in a choir, play guitar, riding horses, but I also like to dance, paint and meet with my friends. Overall I love nature and enjoy to do some hiking ( I did it once in NZ), watch natures beauty and go for some rock climbing but not professional.
Some attributes of mine you might like to know would be my reliability, my ability of making compromises and settle conflicts, my patience and tolerance. I am a person who loves to laugh and I hope we will have a lot to laugh about together.
