Dear my future hostfamily 



My name is Ana, I was born January 22nd 1989 in a small town named Knurow in Poland.
When I was 9 months old my family and I moved to Germany, where i spend great years of my childhood. 8 years ago we moved to our own house in a small village named Bexbach, a very nice quiet area.


I am living together with my parents my mother Isabella, my father Andreas and my brother Marc. Both of my parents work. My father is a mechanic and my mother is a material tester and a hairdresser. My brother is doing a training to become an electronic technician.
He is 20. I used to spend some weeks alone with him, in the last few years, when my parents went on holidays. During those times, I cooked for him, helped him with his homework and took care of the household, like the laundry and cleaning.
My family is and will be always a very important part in my life. Besides the love we have for each other I also can count on their support in anything I do and especially my wish to become an AuPair. 



My experiences with kids started early. I did two internships at a kindergarten: in  April 2006 (two weeks) and October 2007 (one week). There were 15 children between the age of 2 and 7. I helped the governess to supervise the group. We played games, sang songs, did handicrafts, read out loud for the kids and played in the backyard everyday.It can be a little exhausting but at the end it is all worth it. It was so much fun, I enjoyed my self throughout those weeks and it was a helpful experience for me to take care of so many kids at the same time.
 


I also have a lot of experiences with baby-sitting. These jobs were always a lot of fun for me.
I have been around my friends daughter Briley (she is 2 year old) for many hours. She is such a sunshine. We spend a lot of time together while her parents were at work. She is a child with a lot of energy, so she needed to be occupied all the time.
We were outside a lot playing hide and seek or we went to the playground sliding or swinging in the swing and playing with the sand.
She is very smart for her age. I was always trying to teach her new things. She learned the ABC and also already knows how to count to 10. She enjoyed to color in her collaring books and playing with her toys. Her favorite was when I read books to her. Besides playing and having a good time with Briley, I also prepared her meals throughout the day. Tried to cook something different for her every time so she would not get bored.
When I had time I helped in the household. In cases where her mother had to work late I gave her a bath and put her to sleep.



I also worked  as a babysitter for the Schulze family with two adorable children.
 In the morning I made some breakfast then got Romeo ready for school and took him to school. After that I had all morning to
entertain Vida, got her dressed did her hair and feed her. We was busy all afternoon playing games ,drawing, singing to songs
and dancing. Around 1 pm she had to take her nap. While she was doing that I had time to clean up a little,  wash the dishes,
do some laundry clean up the toys, makes some lunch. Around 3 pm Romeo got home from school. I fix him and Vida
something to eat and after that we start with his homework. When he finished that we went outside to ride his bike,
play basketball or go to the playground.



Through those jobs as a babysitter and my internship at the kindergarten, I realized how much I enjoy being around kids and that is when I heard about the Au Pair program.

I would describe my self as a reliable, friendly, positive and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new people. In my free time, I love doing different kind of outdoor sports like playing soccer or running track. Since 5 years I am part of a track team. We have practice once a week and we are having competitions with other teams. I adore this sports and like spending time with my teammates. I also enjoy baking, meeting my friends, go see movies, reading a good book and traveling.


I have passed my driving license test in October 2011 and I drive almost daily since that day. During my lessons in the driving school I have also attended a first aid course. Due to the fact that we have very much snow in our region I have experiences with driving in snow as well as driving on the highway.


I have been working part time at McDonald's since I was 16 years old. After I finished High School in July 2008 I started working there full time. I work 40 hours every week and I know what it means to work more then have leisure time, although it was a hard reorientation after 12 years of school. I like working there, it is a very nice atmosphere. I really get a long with my co-workers very well and it is nice to work as a team. The most I enjoy are the Birthdays we do with the kids, their families and friends. There are a lot of games, handicrafts, eating and laughter. The birthdays are always a lot of fun.

After my year as an Au Pair i would like to start a training as a kindergarten teacher or nurse. The internship at the kindergarten showed me where I want to be in life. It is a great feeling to to teach kids new things and have a impact on their lives. I will try the best i can to be a good role model.

There are so many reasons why i want to become an Au Pair. 
Taking care of children, teaching them new things,seeing them grow up and developing their personalities is a beautiful thing. So i really hope i can be a part of this
