Experience

Although I have never been an au pair before, I have a lot of experience with childcare. I have done lots of babysitting over the past 7 years. I have also taken two trip to Jamaica to volunteer with children. On the first trip i spent two weeks at an orphanage with children ranging from newborns to 18 year olds. On the second trip i worked with a psychiatric team at children's mental health clinics. I also worked in my university's child psychology lab with children ages 2-5. I have taken many university courses involving child and adolescent development and interactions with children. As you can see, I have a passion for interacting with and caring for children!
