Dear Family, I am a 19 year old student at university in Manchester (UK) studying English literature. I enjoy working with children and hope to in the future be a primary school teacher.

I have 2 younger siblings so have plenty of 'hands-on' experience, from changing nappies to reading stories. I also worked at Clarks (the shoe shop) for nearly 3 years on the childrens department so gained a lot experience of working with children on that. I had to measure and fit their feet for shoes and try and keep them entertained throughout this to keep them happy and relaxed. On top of this I have many hours experience in working with children of the ages 6-8 at a primary school in which I volunteered at.

I am a sensible and caring young woman and understand the importance of childhood in determining the kind of person a child will be in adult life. Therefore understand your need in hiring an Au Pair who is going to be the best influence possible on your children. I enjoy listening to other people, I am a deep thinker and love participating in debates! I am very outgoing and love being around people of all ages. I go swimming 3 times a week in order to keep fit and healthy and also express a keen interest in gymnastics. As a student of English literature I obviously have an interest in reading and like to read in my spare time for leisure.
