Dear host family,
My name is Kate, I am 23 years old and I would like to become an Au Pair for your family. I am from a beautiful country Moldova. I am the only child in my family. I have mother, father and the grandmother.
Last year I graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Business and Administration specialty. This last year I lived away from my family, because they live in their own house in the country and I in an apartment in the Chisinau.
I grew up in a small but a very friendly and happy family. We try to support each other in difficult times. My family taught me the most important things: never cheat, if you can help another person, help and be kind to people.


I decided to participate to the Au Pair program because I love children a lot, and I would like to learn more about a new culture and meeting new people. I also enjoy visiting new places, taking pictures and make new friends. I am a very sociable, friendly, outgoing, open-minded and creative person. I'm a responsible, sociable, positive and hardworking person and I’m very curious to learn new things. Every weekend me and my family try to hold together in the open air, every year we are going to the Black sea and spend there our vacation, because we love swimming and spend free time together actively.
My grandmother is very good at cooking different dishes so every time we meet she tells me her secrets of cooking food.

From November 2009 to November 2010, I took care of a beautiful girl Olesya. I dressed and fed her, washed and ironed her clothes, put her to bed and played with her. Olesya loved when I sang funny songs in both Russian and English. She always smiled and tried to repeat the sound. I took care of her when she was about 1.5 years, now she is almost 4 and she already says a lot, knows how to dance, sing and use the computer. I love her so much if she would be my sister.
I also took care of 4 year old Sasha from January to June 2011. I was cleaning his children's room, cooked him, washed and ironed his clothes, played developing games. But most of all Sasha loved when we sang songs in Russian and in English. He liked to learn and repeat new words. We also spent much time with Sasha for the drawing. I very much love Sasha. He is very smart boy.
