I have worked with kids of all ages and in many capacities through activities such as teaching, coaching, and tutoring, and babysitting. I am a practicing Catholic and have been active in my church since I taught kindergarten religious education classes once a week from 2008-2009. I also coached cheerleading from 2009-2010 and spent many hours a week getting to know and love some amazing fifth grade girls. I have spent hundreds of hours tutoring children of all ages in a wide range of subject areas.
Among the most important time I spent working with kids was the summer I volunteered with the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Here, I worked in the school and helped Spanish-speaking patients catch up with school work that they had missed while staying in the hospital.
