Experience

I have never worked as an Au Pair before but I've been looking after children in different ages for many years, mainly my two cousins but also other children in my neighbourhood when needed. The children have been between two and fifteen years and we have done a lot of things together, like visiting the zoo and different science centers, baking and cooking a lot, being out playing in the nature and going to the beach. Now, when my cousins are older, a lot of time goes to helping them with their homework and taking them to different activities.
Each and every child has been a new challenge, but to see them try and learn new things and develop their personalities is one of the most exciting things you could see!
I've also wokred with children within sports - for a couple of years I was a track and field instructor for children in the age of seven to twelve. I learned a lot in it was so much fun!
I’ve also done a several projects with children during my time in school. During my last year I did a big science project with ten nine years old girls in order to change their image of science. To see them succeed and grow was fantastic!
I love being around and feel secure with children in all ages; they bring you so much joy!
