Hello, dear host family!
Let me introduce myself:
My name is Mariane and I am 21 years old.
I live in Sao Gonçalo. It’s a big city situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I had been studying business administration for four years, but now I've stopped because I am preparing myself to be a great au pair.
I live with my parents, Marco and Jane, and with my younger brother, Paulo Victor. I also have a dog. Then, if you have any pet, I do not mind helping taking care of it. I love animals.
My family and I are a very happy and close family. We do like to hang out together.
I always help my mother cooking and doing chores. I like to prepare the meals to my family and friends.
I chose to be an au pair, because I just love children. Besides, I will be able to study, to improve my English and get to know a new culture and people.
I have never been abroad and I am really interested in knowing a bit more about The United States, and be more responsible and independent. I really want to be an au pair. It is a great opportunity to grow up as a professional and as a person.
My proven experience with children is basically: preparing meals, spoon feeding, bathing, dressing them up, potty training, teaching, playing and putting in bed.
But I also enjoy taking care of babies, even though I don’t have proven experience. I know bottle feeding, burping, bathing, changing diapers.
You can expect from me being reliable, responsible and warm-hearted. I am also friendly, patient, loyal and outgoing, so you can rely on me any time you need it. On the other hand, I would like to be part of the family. I would like to have meals, to go out, to travel and to have fun with the family.
I am looking forward to improve my English and to learn American culture. Then, I will do my best to live the best experience of my life until now. I am here applying myself to be your new au pair.
