Hello, how are you? My name is Rizkita Amanda but you can call me Chitta. I’m 23 years old and I live in Bandung City, Indonesia. I’m in last year of my study in Psychology major at Padjadjaran University, Bandung. I have two sisters and two brothers who are very close to me. Taking care of my siblings is my obligation since I’m the elder in the family. I speak Bahasa, English, a little Japanese and I would love to learn other language.
I have a lot of experiences with children especially in childcare that I’ll explain later. I love working with them, teaching them new things, playing with them even take care of them while their parents are busy. I have never been an Au Pair before but I will give my best.
I am the elder in my big family so I often take care of my siblings, cousins, niece, even nephew. We also play while learning together, sing our fave song together, we had so much fun.
When I was in the second semester of my college (early 2007) I have been worked as a child therapist in a clinical psychologist clinic. I took cares many kind of children; children without any kind of serious disorders such as slow learner, dyslexia, or lack of stimulation and children with serious disabilities such as autism, ADD, ADHD, and many more. A lot of thing I learn from there, especially how to handle each child with their personalities and their problems. That’s why I’m decided to become a clinical psychologist someday especially in children. Just because I have to do some research for my college, in early 2011 I decided to quit from my job as a child therapist.
I often do childcare in my country, but have never do childcare in another. So I regard this as a challenge for myself. I will take the responsibilities, I will work harder and increase new experiences more and more (/^o^)/.
