Experience

While I have not had certified au pair experience, I have certainly had lots of experience with children! As a devoted cousin and aunt, I have spent countless hours with live in children and was also a camp counselor and a babysitter for several years; teaching swimming and tennis, playing sports and doing arts and crafts.
In addition, I am a certified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and traveled throughout South America, teaching at local schools, after school programs and orphanages. I worked with children ages 2-15 and adults as well. This experience has taught me how to interact with kids as a teacher and mentor as well as a friend.
