Dear family, my name is Cate Hanna, and I am from Billings, Montana. I am the eighth child of ten. I have five sisters and four brothers and amazing parents. My parents always have and still expect me to keep and follow a high level of standards. As for me, I love sports! I've played soccer since I was very young and basketball as well. Running is by far my forte, and I enjoy running cross-country and peting in track and field. I hope to run in college. Three months ago, I went to NYC with my mom and two oldest sisters to run the marathon. I love traveling! As for school, I am enrolled in all honors and have a GPA of a 3.8. I am captain of my science team and recently created and built a working hydrogen fuel cell car, peting and winning the National Science Bowl: Engineering Competition in Washington, D.C. I am also part of my high school's student body representatives in student council. I love to be involved in school activities and plan on pursuing a study in engineering or medicine. I also love music! I started teaching piano when I was thirteen years old and continue to teach today. I play the organ for my church and also sing. Last, but not least, being from Montana has definitely made me love the outdoors! I love to camp, hike, ride horses, ski, swim, and just about everything outdoors! Last summer I lived in Utah and nannied for a family with three boys; ages: 1,2,4. My job consisted of dressing the boys, cooking meals, cleaning the house, driving them to various activities, puting them to bed, and playing with them. In the afternoons, I worked with a large class of two year olds at a large day care. My job consisted of feeding them, teaching them to use the bathroom, putting them down for naps, reading to them, playing outside with them, and planning various activites and places to go throughout the week.
