Dear Family,

Being an Au Pair is a dream job of mine, not only do I get to influence children and put all my hard efforts at University studying Early Childhood to work, but I get to travel! I'm a real easy going family girl so I believe I will be able to fit into a family perfectly :)

I'm from a small town called Paraparaumu but moved to Wellington City 4 years ago to Study Early Childhood Education. Since I am a real family girl I only managed to get 40 minutes away from my home town. This was perfect though as I could always pop back home when I needed anything. Growing up in New Zealand has given me a passion for the outdoors. I have been camping (real camping, no power etc..) every year of my life and absolutely love it! I love trying new experiences and am up for almost anything, anything that will give me a thrill I will try. In my spare time, (when I get it) I love catching up with family and friends, I also love swimming and reading which gives me some nice down time.

I think this is an incredible opportunity and would be honoured to be an Au Pair.

Experience

I am currently in my final year studying Early Childhood Education, BTeach(ECE). Through this I have been on five, four week placements in different kindergartens and day cares. Next to my study I have a relieving job where I relieve a couple days a week at different day cares all over Wellington. These day cares range from children from birth to five so I have worked with all ages.

As well as this I have two gorgeous nieces, who are now 4 and 6 who I babysit, I am very close to them, (when my sister had her first, her and her husband lived in a small house on our backyard for 3years!) this has helped me understand child development as I watched them grow up. I am currently looking for a nannying job in New Zealand for the rest of the year while I finish my studies to give me some nannying experience.
