Dear Host Family,

My name is Emma and I am 20 years old, from New Orleans, USA. Right now, I work at an arts organization, where I help teenagers apply to college and plan for their careers. The job I'm working only lasts one year, so I'm looking ahead for my next step after it's over!

I have always loved working with children of all ages and I have been babysitting since I was very young. I have even been a counselor at a sleepaway camp, where I lived with groups of 10-20 children of various and ages, and was with them every moment of every day, all summer!

This position really showed me the patience and compassion needed to care for children. I learned how to manage my emotions and always put the children first. I learned that even though it's not easy, and it can be very tiring, I love to work with kids, and it's always worth it in the end.

Living with me is easy. I am tidy and respectful of house rules. I am confident that any issues that arise can be solved through communication.
