Dear Host Family,

My name is Maria Eduarda and I am 18 years old. I would like to begin this letter by expressing my gratitude for your interest in getting to know me better and considering the possibility of welcoming me into your home as part of your family.

Since a young age, I have always had a deep curiosity and appreciation for different cultures. I believe that diversity is what makes the world so fascinating and enriching. I am eager to immerse myself in your family's culture and learn more about your traditions, values, and way of life.

My hobbies reflect my pursuit of personal growth and my passion for learning. I spend my free time reading books of various genres, always seeking to expand my horizons and knowledge. Additionally, I am a regular attendee at the gym, where I dedicate myself to physical training, taking care of my health and well-being.

I have a keen interest in the field of language, and my work experience since the age of 15 has provided me with a solid foundation to explore this field. Furthermore, my experience in caring for children, including my younger sister, has taught me to be patient, responsible, and caring.

Since I was little, I have dreamed of learning to play the piano, and it is a goal that I intend to accomplish during my stay in your home. I already know how to play the ukulele and am always looking for opportunities to improve my musical skills.

Experience

I have already helped care for a pair of siblings, with a 2-year difference; the boy was 10 and the girl was 8, and it has always been very smooth; the parents never had any problem leaving them with me. I also have experience with a 1-year-old baby, and I have no problem changing diapers and providing all the necessary care. Lastly, I assist in taking care of my stepfather's daughter, whom I see as a younger sister.
