Letter to the family

My name is Elise, I was born in 2003 in France.
At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, I'll have my Bachelor's degree in mathematics and would like to take a gap year before continuing my studies. I'd love to take this gap year in a foreign country to discover a different culture, especially in order to be fluent in an other language, while taking care of a kid or kids, to whom I could present a new culture and way of living.

Experience

I've never been an Au Pair, however, I've already taken care of children, especially my cousin of 9 years old ever since he was born, with whom I really get along well.
During the spring of 2024, me and a couple classmates will be on internship for some hours in a highschool (sophomore year) in maths class (assist the teacher, make math exercises, and help the students, understanding their needs, how they work...)
I really appreciate taking care of other people, mostly children, developing a good and sane relationship and helping them as much as I can while teaching them things I'm good at and discovering new ones!
my main goals is to create strong relationships with the kids and experience as many new things i can in a different culture from mine. to me, making memories is the most important thing as a human, it brings a lot of fulfillment ! i really value spending time with other even tho I sometimes love to be alone.
