Hello from Australia. We are an Australian family of 5, living in Melbourne in the suburbs. We have three young children, Jade is 6, Sienna is 4 and Olivia is 2. My husband and I both work, my husband, Darryl, works full time and often travels with his work. I work three days a week and the children (younger two) attend either kindergarten and or childcare on these three days. My eldest child - attends school 5 days a week and so once the morning rush is over, the aupair will find herself with time on her hands and it is in this time that I would like the aupair to perform housework duties.I require the house to be kept tidy at all times, which can be challenging with young children. The washing will be the full responsibility of the aupair and the evening meal preparation during the working week, will also fall under the responsibility of the aupair.

The aupair will be in a private room with a private bathroom and private lounge TV area. They AuPair will have their own computer and internet access so that they may be able to contact their family at all times through the internet.Job Description
Ideally the position is for a house keeper as well as assistance with the children in the mornings and afternoons. There is also occasional child minding. Our children either attend school, kindergarten or creche from Monday to Friday, during these hours, your chores will consist of tidying and cleaning the house.A standard days schedule would be as follows:
Before school, preparation of the children\\\'s breakfast and cleaning of the breakfast dishes.
Ensuring all children are dressed, hair tied back and presentable for the day.
Cleaning, washing and tidying of the house during the day, (the house must be presentable on my return.)
Reading with the children in the afternoon on return from their daily activities and general play to ensure a good bond with the children
Preparation of the evening meal and clearing away of the evening dishes.
After the evening meal, the time is yours.
Weekends are also yours to enjoy, with occasional pre arranged baby sitting.
There may also be occasional pick ups from school etc. The school is a short walk from the house.
I anticipate a paid working week of 20-30 hours per week at the hourly rate of $6 per the Australian rates.
