A typical day schedule for the Aupair would be to wake up with the kids at 7 a.m., get them ready for the day, and feed the kids breakfast. My older daughter has a routine in the mornings where the Aupair just has to make sure that she gets it done. At 8:15 am, Aupair will need to put Jennifer on the school bus infront of our house. Then she'll be spending time with Jade. Duties include feeding her, changing her diaper, playing with her, and reading books for her. If the weather permits, taking Jade for a walk in the stroller, playing in the backyard in the swingset, or taking her to the local library/activities. Jade takes 1 nap (2 hours long) during the day. The schedule will be a split schedule. Usually 7-10 am then Aupair gets a break to do whatever she'd like such as going to the gym (although we have a gym at home) or meetup with friends for coffee. She'll be back on 2-7 pm. At 3:15, some days, she'll need to pick up Jennifer from school with Jade to drive Jennifer straight to her activities such as gymnastics and art classes. Other days, Jennifer will come home with the school bus where the Aupair will pick her up from infront of the house. She'll need to give her a snack. Then the Aupair will need to give a bath to the kids, and give them dinner. The Aupair needs to be flexible with the schedule. The schedule will be provided a week prior to you. The schedule is not set in stone and we will work with you. We're a very laid back family and just hoping to find someone who is truly passionate about taking care of kids. We want a happy energetic girl who is responsible and tidy. Ideally, we would want an Aupair who will become a role model for our girls. Hopefully we'll find the right candidate to have a long term relationship with and someone who can become a part of our family.
