Letter To Aupair

Dear Au pair,
I am a divorced professional mum and I live with my daughter Nicole, who is 7 and our dog Max. We live in a village called Hamble near to the city of Southampton. It is a sailing village and has several marinas and a big sailing community. Our house is about 1km from the beach, but it is not really a swimming beach, but great for walking our dog!
Hamble is about 5 miles from the City of Southampton. There is a good bus service into town, but you may be able to borrow a car if it fits in with the family. In Hamble itself there are a few shops and cafes, several restaurants and 6 pubs, all within 2 minutes of our house!
We live in a large 6 bedroomed house. There is quite a big garden. I have a small gym in my loft which you would be able to use. You would have your own double bedroom with television and you would share a bathroom with my daughter. We have wireless internet access, and you would be able to use the family computer if you did not have your own.
I have a cleaner and gardener. Your duties would primarily some school runs, babysitting and looking after Nicole while I work. There will be some light household duties, such as ironing, and cooking for Nicole. I would also need you to walk the dog on the weekdays.
I also have an apartment in the French Alps, which we will be visiting in most of our school holidays. There will be time when we would like you to come there with us.
We would like our au pair to feel as they are part of the family, and muck in to help generally. The trip to school is about 10km each way, so you must be a confident driver and speak good English. I am keen for Nicole to learn some French, so if you speak French it would be a bonus for us!
