We live in a very pretty part of Berkshire, about an hour from central London, with lovely walks in the hills and forests and lots of wild life. We live in a large modern house, only built 3 years ago, very close to the school (which is a good place to meet people) in a large village, about 5 Km outside Newbury, which is where Vodafone has its world HQ. Your room has two windows overlooking the forest. We have quite a big garden, a table-tennis room, two cats and three goldfish. We are a relaxed friendly household. I work from home as a consultant in medical computing and I have written a number of books on this subject. We have a lot of books in the house, as well as 5 computers with Internet connections! I have four boys: Laurence 16, Oliver 15, Alex 12 and Jamie 9. They are all bright, polite and interested in sports (such as football, basketball, table tennis and swimming) and computer games (we have PS3 and Wii). They all look after themselves quite well for most things and go to local schools. Your main duties would be cooking, cleaning, laundry, helping the boys etc, very much as part of the family.
