Letter To Aupair

We are looking for a girl, around 20 yrs old, native English speaker and European Citizen, non smoker, to share with us the summer holidays, from around 15th July to 21st August.
Actually we live in Madrid, but the place were we spend the vacations is Prejano, a little village in La Rioja. There, we have a house for our free time, and a lot of friends with children like ours, whom we have a lot of fun with. It’s a natural environment, off the beaten path, where we like to relax. Don’t expect a lot of excitement and fiesta, although you will have opportunity to meet people of your age to practice your Spanish and become friends if you want to. Prejano is only 220 inhabitants during winter, but in summer gets crowded with people in their holidays.
In Prejano, as we are on vacation, the time passes between swimming pool, lunch, siesta, cycling, walking, and picnicking. We take some little trips to see surrounding villages, buildings of interest, museums, wine cellars or whatever interest one of us. |

During those days we will consider you as part of the family, we will take care of your necessities and you will have 50euro per week as pocket money. You will have your own apartment in the second floor, with bathroom, fridge, TV and kitchen, where you can prepare your breakfast. I will cook the rest of the meals. You won’t have to do any house keeping, except that to maintain clean and tidy the apartment where you will be living. |

Job Description

Your responsibility will be to spend time with the children, speaking English with them and with us, to take part of their games and promote activities, helping them with their homework. As long as we are together, we will speak English. Being with friends, the language will be Spanish, if you want so. However, you can have free time for yourself too, just propose what you need. We want you to feel comfortable, to experience our culture and have a good time. |
