Dear family,
Hello! I am Alicia, born and raised in a small in the southwest part of America. The area I have grown up in has primarily Spanish speakers. Learning Spanish would be beneficial and is something I have always wanted to do. The best way to learn Spanish is by being totally emerged Throughout my education I have wanted to be an exchange student, but it was not possible at that time. In high school we hosted exchange students from various countries.I love having people from around the world in our home and being a part of our family. I fell in love with other cultures and learned so much through them. The world is huge, seeing more of it seems essential to life and learning.
Kids are some of the best people to learn from. They are interested, curious, and enjoy life day by day. I have babysat various age groups ranging from 3months to 9years old. When I was 12years old I started babysitting for multiple people at our church. At the age of 15 I worked at a church nursery, it was small with only 5 kids at a time or someone else was put in there with me, I continued to that until I was 16years old when I started working at a restaurant. Now, at 21years old I baby-sit my 2year old niece regularly, but do not have the chance to watch any other kids due to work and school. I love kids! I am kind hearted, friendly, fun, and patient. I think kids need positive reinforcement, not just someone telling them no. I would love to work with any age of children, 3 at time maximum. Cleaning and cooking I assume go hand in hand with childcare. I am used to staying busy and enjoy keeping it that way. I am willing to work as much as needed.
