Dear Family:
My name is Tessa and I am a 23 1/2 year old recent college graduate. I received my B.A in Sociology and Anthropology with a concentration in applied and clinical sociology. I also have my A.S in human services. As you can tell by my educational background I love people, especially children. It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country. Nowadays it is very important to be tolerant because there are so many different countries and traditions. I have had the opportunity to travel and it has been through these travels that I realized my life goal was to help all people and to love the world I live in, I am very close to my family I have a sister Brenna who is 18 and a student and my mother who is a early childhood specialist.

I am interested and participate in all kinds of sports such as Equestrian, Basketball, Cheerleading, Dance,hula hooping, and Track.When it es to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks,camping, hiking, music, crafts, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book.

I helped to organize some events within my community when I was in both in high school and college . While in college, I was a cadet in the AF ROTC program at Valdosta State University. I worked and lead a team which helped to instill strong personal values. It was hard work but now I am sure that I can say that I am very flexible and independent.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months to a year or longer if all works out. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 2 to 15+ years. I do not have problems with helping in the household. I really love cooking and I like to taste other foods. At home I often cook for myself and roommates. I am a vegetarian but that does not limit me in the kitchen.household included- taking the children to school and taking them to after school activities such as ballet and piano lessons, purchasing groceries, laundry,preparing meals for the children, maintaining good hygiene practices in the household and bedtime routines. With my tutoring experience I also have the ability to teach English As a Second Language.

Personally, I am health-conscious and a non-smoker. I am hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. I have a genuine interest in the well-being of children, I love interacting and playing with them. The possibility of living as an Aupair is quite exciting for me. I have considerable experience in living away from home (4 years of boarding school and 4 years of college) and find it easy to adapt to new environments. I am generally cheerful and easy to live with while respecting the household rules, and I am considerate of a family's privacy.

I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you and to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the Aupair arrangement.

Expériences en garde d'enfant

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. At the beginning I looked after my little cousins and as time went by the adults
trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility. I got my first paid job at the age of 14 looking after neighborhood children.My tasks were to prepare food , put them to bed and then to look after them untill 4 o’clock in the morning. My job was not very strenuous . I was a teachers aid at my mothers 17 year old child care center that has received all of the top child care rewards she is a early childhood specialist who has passed on knowledge to me. I have also been a lifeguard at Six Flags White Water in Atlanta Georgia . While working there I was certified in Adult/ Child CPR, First Aid and deep sea spinal injuries. Tthese certifications were repeated when I was a CNA care giver at Southern Care Assisted Living Facility where I took care of Alzheimer's and Dementia patients
