Dear loving Au Pair families,

Hello my name is Alexandra Gonzalez. I am a 21 year old american university student from New York. I am looking for an Au Pair family that will open their doors to me and make me feel right at home . My objective is to take care of your family with all my love and dedication. I would also like to learn the native language of these countries as best as i can.

To add a little bit about myself, i absolutley love to spend time with children, whether it be teaching them or taking care of them and playing. My major in University is International relations but my biggest goal is to work in a non governmental organization that involves helping youths such as UNICEF, Action For Children, Save the Children, Sweat Free, etc. In addition, i also enjoy reading books (specially mystery), baking delicious pastries (cookies, muffins,cakes,brownies,etc.), sight seeing, playing sports, among other things.

Although i am not a professional with children, i have had quite some experience and the best memories with them :-) . I have taken care of babies from my own family and of friends, it truly makes me happy to spend all the time that i can with them . I have also worked with a wide range of children/kids of all ages, both as a volunteer english teacher for underprivileged children ages 7 - 12 and for my c0mmunity service hours in highschool as a teacher assistant for kids in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). I am sure we will get along and learn from each other.

What you can expect from me is honesty, warmth, dedication, politeness, a cheerful attitude, flexibility, understanding, positiveness, and above all an open mind to your culture and lifestyle. I think that with my easy going and calm attitude i would be a perfect loving big sister for your children. I am eager to learn from this experience.

Esperienza con bambini
