Dear AuPair:

We are a nice, easygoing couple that looks for a teacher/nanny to assist us with home schooling our son and/or our two twins girls (Scarlett & Brenna).

My wife and I both run our own business and must both work. We welcome assisting you with education, and other items. We are currently learning German, but are not fluent. We have several dogs and several cats that are outside pets. We have 4 horses. We live in a rural area, which is about a 30 minute drive to the city (malls, shopping, etc.). You may not be able to drive the children until we are comfortable with your driving abilities, but you are free to drive to town when you aren't working. Your schedule of work is will be with the children outside of school hours in the evenings and weekends sometimes. We need you to cook and clean the house too.

Richmond, Virginia is a beautiful place to enjoy in America. Richmond is one of the most historically rich places in the United States. Our home is a 2200 square foot house. We do provide a car if you have your license. You must pay for your car insurance if you have a bad driving record.

We are not religious, however we are highly moral. We would also like someone that is laid back, but enjoys conversation and being included in our family. We are interested in other cultures and would love to get to know yours and you ours. We do not want someone who is not willing to participate in our family to great degree. We are also not interested in someone who drinks excessively or parties every weekend. Our AuPair should like watching movies and reading. We require someone that will spend time with us as a family. We will treat you like an adult not our child, and you must be respectful of our home and family.

Your room has its own bath. You have a phone and a TV. We provide a cell phone and can let you use the car when you are off.
