Dear host family,
My name is Clara, I am 25 years old (turning 26 in December) and I am Malagasy. I am a very happy and sociable girl who loves spending time outside with the world and what surrounds her. My parents are farmers and live in a village. I have an older brother and he has two children. I live in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar, and am learning German here. In my free time I like to read books, spend time with my friends, riding bicycle or just stay at home and cook.
My native language is Malagasy, I speak English well because I lived in an English-speaking country (India) for two and a half years, I have an intermediate level in French and a basic level in German, I have already received my A1 certificate and I am still learning now .
I have never worked as an au pair before, but the time I spent with my niece, nephew and some of my friends' children taught me to be autonomous and adapt to unexpected situations related to children. And as a midwife, taking care of children is nothing new for me.
I would like to become an au pair in Germany because I heard from a friend who is already there about what it is like to work as an au pair in Germany and I find that very interesting. I would like to live with a family with a different culture and lifestyle. Above all, I would like to get to know German culture and improve my German skills.

I already have an appointment at the embassy in November. So I can join you as soon as the visa is ready.
