Dear Host Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Gelian, and I am 33 years old. I am from the beautiful sunny Cape Town South Africa. currently living in Malaga,as a student.
I speak English, Afrikaans and Dutch fluently. I speak a little Danish, Spanish, Italian and Norwegian.

In my spare time I like to workout, go for walks, running, do yoga ect. I also like to meet up with friends, for shopping, dinners, walks, and socializing.
I also love reading, especially books based on true stories ?
I would love to become your next Au Pair/Nanny because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.

Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.

I’ve been living and working abroad since 2015.
I’ve worked in the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Italy and currently Norway as an Au pair/Nanny. I love learning about different cultures, experience different cuisines and learn foreign languages ?
