I lived with my host family in Manhattan, New York for 13 months. She’s a single mom with twin boys age 22 months old and 1 little dog. I‘ve been taking care of them since they were 16 months olds. It’s not easy taking care of twin boys. They’re handful but very smart, sweet and funny. It’s an amazing feeling seeing them growing everyday.
Before that I lived with other family in California for 11 months and took care of 2 girls age 9 months old and 6 years old until they were 20 months old and almost 7 years old. I gained lots of experience from my first family so, it’s easier for me to adjust into my new family in my second year.

For more childcare experience from Thailand, I first care for my relative’s child when I was around 14 years old. I’ve always helping my cousins raising their children. Around 6 years ago, my cousins ask me to babysit her 2 boys in Singapore while she went on a business trip for almost a month so I flew there to stay with them and took care of them. They were 3 and 5 years old at that time. I’ve also worked in a daycare for a while. I took care of kids from age 4 months old to 4 years old. I changed diaper, prepare bottles, feeding, bathing and put them to bed.
Taking care of children is one thing that I enjoy. Yes, it requires lots of patients but It’s always fun being around them. They are adorable and full of life. I would love to raise them and supervise them the best I can as if they're my own children. That’s why I joined the Aupair program in the first place. Also I get to travel, live aboard, explore new things, learn how to give and take. It’s a life experience that I wouldn’t want it to end.
