¡Hola familia! Soy Karla, un gusto conocerte. Soy estudiante de Contaduría pero aficionada de las ciencias naturales. Amante de los animales y los idiomas. Voluntaria de Rotary International (presidente del Club Rotaract Guayana, 2019-2020). Tengo 23 años y desde los 14 años he trabajado en planes vacacionales con niños de 4 a 7 años de edad; asimismo, por los último 3 años he sido tutora de niños de primaria, pre-escolar y secundaria.

Me encantaría ser Au Pair porque creo que podría ser una experiencia enriquecedora para mi y la familia a la que vaya a trabajar. Nos da la oportunidad a ambas partes de aprender un poco más del mundo del otro, de aprender de un nuevo idioma, nuevas habilidades y tener una experiencia diferente. Particularmente, considero que viajando, conociendo nuevas culturas, es que te sensibilizas con las realidades ajenas y te mantienes humilde con metas y aspiraciones pero siempre con los pies en tierra.

Desde los 14 años he trabajado con niños en planes vacacionales, especialmente de edades comprendidas entre 04-08 años y 12-13 años, y pocas veces tuve experiencias con niños con discapacidades especiales. Sin duda, no es igual a ser una Au Pair pero participar en estos planes y campamentos vacacionales es algo que me ha enseñado a manejar de grupos de niños, analizar sus necesidades, visualizar sus habilidades y potencialidades, a saber como motivarlos, resolver de conflictos de manera óptima, mantener la calma (tolerancia y paciencia) y a identificar el estilo de aprendizaje que pudiera tener el niño.

Es por todo esto, por mis ganas de seguir creciendo y por el hecho de que me gusta trabajar con niños que considero que pudiera estar calificada para el puesto. Si tienes dudas o preguntas para mi o sobre mi, contáctate conmigo y con gusto te respondo.

Hello family! I am Karla, nice to meet you. I am an Accounting student but fan of natural sciences. Lover of animals and languages. Rotary International volunteer (president of the Rotaract Club Guayana, 2019-2020). I am 23 years old and since the age of 14 I have worked on summer camps with children from 4 to 7 years old. Also, for the last 3 years I have been tutoring children from primary, pre-school and secondary.

I would love to be an Au Pair because I think it could be an enriching experience for me and the family I get to work with. It gives us the opportunity -to both sides- to learn a little more about each other's world, to learn a new language, new skills and have a different experience. Particularly, I consider that traveling, knowing new cultures, helps you to sensitize to the realities of others and, also, helps you stay humble with goals and aspirations but always with your feet on the ground.

Since I was 14 years old, I have had the chance to work with children on summer camps, especially between the ages of 04-08 and 12-13 years, and I have rarely had experiences with children with special disabilities. Undoubtedly, it is not the same as being an Au Pair, but participating in these summer camps is something that has taught me to manage groups of children, analyze their needs, visualize their abilities and potentials, how to motivate them, resolve conflicts optimally, remain calm (how to be tolerant and patient) and identify the learning style that the child may have.
