In a normal scenario, we would expect the au pair to assist in the morning and evening with the babies to get them ready for school, while we get the older ones ready. Thereafter, bring all kids to school. On Wednesday, school is finished early, so in the afternoon we expect the au pair to take care of Valentine & Armand + transport to hobbies. Normally during the day and weekends you are free. Also, we expect everybody (including ourselves) in the family to take a share of the house hold tasks; we do have a cleaning lady who comes every week, but obviously a bit more is needed.

If due to sickness or emergency situation, our kids are unable to attend school and are home as well during the week, we also seek an au pair who is willing to take upon herself additional tasks during these challenging times.
