As we lived in London for over 14 years and are therefore fluent in English and German. You would therefore be able to learn/improve your German whilst still being able to switch to English if easier/prefered by you. The kids are also used to the English and German language and are comfortable with both.
DO NOT WRITE IF YOU ARE FROM OUTSIDE THE EU AND OVER 27 WITH NO A1 GERMAN CERTIFICATE ... you will not get a visa, that is German government requirement

The hours I would try to work around your and our schedule and preferences (language school, your leisuretime activities etc) ... We would discuss the structure of the week in advance.
Sometimes (on days when me or my husband are already out) in the mornings you would be preparation the breakfast, getting the twins ready and bringing them to school. You pick them up in the afternoon from school around 3pm - homework & some playing and evening dinner (the kids go to bed at around 7.30/8pm). Sometime we ask you for babysitting in the evening, but that would be in advanced known and very fair of your and our plans.
You would help with very light household duties to keep the week running, keep the kids-room tidy. It is expected you keep your studio flat clean and tidy. For the general cleaning of the house we have a cleaning lady coming.
We support our AuPairs with learning German. You can participate classes at the language school close to our home. Normally until the school pick/afternoon you would have free time, there are a lot of parks around us to stay active too

About usWe are a family of 5 ... mom, dad and 3 boys. The twins are soon 8 years and one nearly 12 year old. We have lived in London for 14years, before that in New York and have moved back to Germany/Frankfurt. We are looking for a nice, flexible and energetic Aupair. Our new Aupair has to speak good english! We had 6 Aupairs before and they loved it here and had an amazing time (happy for you to get feed-back from any of them).
