Dear hosts families..
here is an introduction of who am I.
My name is Ana.
I`m from Mexico. living in LA, Ca.
In MexicoI used to live by my own with my dog Paula, a friendly and very energetic border collie. We both love peaople and other pets.
I love to genuinely get to know the people around me and have a truly connection with them.
I really enjoy outdoor activities and extreme sports, so if you like to climbing, or skiing, of course I will be more than signed up to join you in those activities.
I'm an industrial engineer and my last work related to my degree was in Mexico, I used to work as an intern at a pharmaceutical company called Merck Sorano.
I daily went for a bike ride (5 km) with Paula.
In my free time I used to play flag football for the university team, I like it because it's a team sport and I wasted most of my energy there.
On weekends I used to volunteer at a pet shelter (I think it's important to contribute our grain of sand to society) I did that during three consecutive years.
I started as a babysitter when I was 20 years old, with a three month-old baby.
It was because of recommendations among moms that I had continued to be a nanny.
I like to play with children, see them explore and see how they learn about the world and how they develop their state of mind.
What I like most about children is that they have a big heart, and that they learn from everything that surrounds them.
What I love the most about teenagers is that they have a different state of mind than the adults, and that they`re learning how to express themselves and starting to make their own criterion, I like to listen to them what are their thoughts.
In any stage kids or teens they have a lot of energy and I LOVE THAT cause I prefer outdoors activities than indoor activities.
I signed up for the Au Pair program because I imagine it is a pleasant experience.
Mainly I want to practice and perfect the language, and I find it wonderful that while doing that, I can do something that I love and that is nothing new to me: be a nanny.
A plus is being able to live the experience of an exchange cultural program.
My expectations as a future Au pair are:
-Being part of a cheerful host family. I would like to be included in your outdoor plans.
-Learn and practice your culture and customs.
-If you wish, teach you my culture.

My MOST RECENT experience with children...
Currently I am an AuPair in Los Angeles, California, I take care of 2 baby girls.
Start date: 27/10/2024
End Date: 01/27/2024
Age of Children: toddler 2 years old, and a baby 9 months old.
Hours per week: 45-50 hours per week (from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and other weeks that I was more needed from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
Activities: My task are to wash the dishes, clean the kitchen, wash the laundry of the girls, tide their room, re-stock the grocery for the girls and the diappers space, take the diapper trash out weekly, daily and weekly meal plan and meal prep for the girls, bath them, walk them to the park daily, plan and put them daily activities for develop their stages (for example. activities for gross and fine motor skills), prepair and plan weekly meals prep for the girls (including breakfast, lunch and snakcs).
My last experience in Mexico.
Start date: JUNE 2022
End Date: OCTOBER 2023)
Age of children: girl 5 years old and boy 11 years old.
Hours per week: 14 hours per week (12 hours two times per week, every wednesday and friday)
Activities: My task were to pick them up from school by car (the girl at 1:00 pm and the boy at 4:00 pm), drive them to their swimming class, prepare lunch and snacks, check them to cath and wash their teeth, and prepare them to sleep.
About my experience: Sometimes I helped the boy with his homework, but he is a very smart and independent boy who likes to try it on his own first, the girl likes to play with plasticine and coloring, she is a very cute girl who always gives me something for gift, for example she draw a picture of us, when she needs something or wants more lunch ask with kindness and delicacy. They despite being siblings, have totally different personalities, he is a sweet and extroverted boy who likes to play videogames, love extreme sports, loves to run, robotics workshops, he likes salty, so when I make him lunch I put fresh food with chamoy like cucumber, carrot, jicama, on the other hand She is shy with people she didn`t know, but she really likes to talk to me about her school, her classmates, her teachers and she is very creative, she easily invents stories when playing with her dolls, and she eat a few, she prefers sweet than salty.
Although they are totally opposite, both of them are very easily to love.
With them the routine was very flexible since in at home they can eat when they are hungry and just ask me to heat their food.
