First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Mariami and I am 24 years old. I am living with my mother, my stepdad, my 14 year old brother and my dog in Tbilisi, which is a big city in Georgia (country). My dad lives with his new wife and my 2 stepbrothers 5 hour away but I communicate with all of them often.

With becoming an Au Pair & Nanny I want to develop and become more independent, but the main reason why I want to work in a family, I think is the best way to learn the language and culture. My dream is to get an education and work in such a warm and caring environment as I can imagine in a family. I am also planning with this decision, which I have been planning for a long time, to be able to help my family financially and also to create a better future for the people around me.

As a family that chooses a caregiver for their children, an animal, or a family affair, I think it is a responsible decision because a complete stranger enters their family. I will try to show my vision and personality a little with this letter.
I think I am a hard worker, purposeful, reliable and active person. Communicating with people fills me with positive energy and I think one of my strengths is this, I can find common ground with everyone easily.
My experience gives me right to say, that I love communicating with open-minded and kind people and that makes me motivated in life. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. The same is with elder people or housekeeping. Everything you do in your life, should do with big responsible sense. My calm personality will help me to overcome more difficult situations for example, when the people are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I understand, that new house will be host's house, so I have to follow their house rules. If something does not work, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
Growing up in a large family since childhood, with three cousins, I learned to share happiness with others. In 24 years, I think I have changed and evolved a lot. I am more integrated and confident now. Despite dissent, I always respect the views of others because I think, tolerance is the ability that allows people to live together in peace.
Because of my purpose, I often wondered what it would be like to work and live in another family. I think I can very actively and happily help and teach any new to child or person, contribute to his development and also help the host family harmoniously.
