Hi there,

My name is Jenna, I am 21 and going to graduate from the University of Denver in June with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Secondary Degree in Emergent Digital Practices (Graphic Design with lots of other technical experience). I like to make things, be creative and learn from other people. Long term, I want to move to Norway, and so out of college, I want to experience the culture, language, and lifestyle a little more thoroughly. I am originally from rural Wisconsin but have lived in Denver Colorado for the past 4 years, so I'm comfortable in city and country environments. As a kid, my favorite activities were soccer, swimming, running, and climbing, but also I love movies, gardening, logic problems and math, and arts and crafts.

For the last two years, I have worked as a nanny/tutor/personal assistant for a family with two kids (M10 and F13). I have really enjoyed my time with them and feel very comfortable in the position with this kind of work. I have tutored peers since high school and still tutor the kids I nanny today. I am great at math and just about most schoolwork as I have always been an A student, but I'm dyslexic and can't remember dates, so history, and spelling... may not be the best bet.

I also have worked as a graphic designer for the past year. I have been making advertisements, logos, and presentations. This I hope will be my future career, but for now, I want a couple of months of a breather after the stress that has been life at university during a pandemic, and not be at a desk all day right away. I really find housework soothing and working with kids so entertaining (they say the funniest things and have such a brilliant view of the world).
