Alina, 21, deutsch, zurzeit in Deutschland sucht einen Job als Au Pair & Nanny in Neuseeland, Südafrika, USA & Großbritannien

Dear host family,
My name is Alina, I am 18 years old and from Germany. In summer 2022 I will receive my German “Abitur” and afterwards I would like to work abroad as an Au Pair.
My favourite subjects are Maths, German, Art and PE. In general, I would describe myself as a very creative person. I like to spend my spare time with my family and friends. We go for walks, dancing, out to eat, to the cinema or just meet to play boardgames and hang out together. Additionally, I do gymnastics and love all kinds of sports. From the age of 6 until 15 I took piano lessons.
I live in a small town near Munich with my older brother, my mum and two cats. My dad currently works in the US but travels to Germany regularly. Due to his job at BMW I spent my elementary school years in Beijing (China) and the following three years in Oxford (UK). Besides this, I was born in Greenville, SC and therefore hold dual citizenship and won´t need a Visa when working in the US. Due to my experience living abroad, I have learnt to adapt to new situations quickly and to be open towards new people.
My mother tongue is German, but I can also communicate in English easily. In addition, I studied Spanish, Latin and French in school.
I think I would be a good fit as an Au Pair, since I like spending time with kids doing arts, sports, playing games, helping them with their homework and being a big sister and role model for them. In school I was part of the “Power Peers” program, in which we offered workshops to younger students, talking about drug- and addiction-prevention. On top of that, I have babysitted the kids of friends of our family a few times.
Helping with some household chores is not a problem for me. I´m not the greatest chef, but I can manage some simple dishes. Pancakes are my specialty. :)
During my time as an Au Pair I would like to get to know your family, your country and people and just have a good time.
