As an Au Pair, I worked in France. The family had two kids, 6 and 4. I took them to school/brought them home, made them lunch or dinner when the parents were late. I took them to the park, played soccer with the older one, read books to them before bedtime, etc. The couple however was going through a divorce so there was a lot of tension in the house.

In China I worked in 2018-2019 as a Kindergarten teacher. I taught English. A lot of the job was preparing activities for the children (crafts) and organizing the lessons, obviously teaching them the lesson, helping with any school event, and much more. It was a very pleasant time. I taught kids ages 4-6.

I later returned home to stay with my family. We moved to Mexico and I opened up a mini-school and taught English to kids from 2-16 years old. (Split up into different groups.) I also taught adults.

I have had a lot of experience teaching and have learned many methods (my mom is a pedagogist so she taught me most of what I know). I have a lot of patience with children.

Aside from my teaching experience, I have a four-year old brother. I have helped to take care of him since he about 10 months old (when I returned home). I also have a 1 year old baby sister that I help take care of.

I absolutely adore knitting and would love to learn how to crochet. I also love sewing! I like making puppets, sock puppets, dolls, and much more. It's something I'm very passionate about: creating anything with my own hands.
I love drawing and painting (watercolor) and one day I would even love to illustrate children's books. Reading is also another favorite hobby of mine. Specifically horror novels, but I also very much enjoy science fiction as well.

I adore cooking and learning new recipes. I'm not a picky eater and will try anything! I love baking as well.

Cats are my favorite animals ever. Even though I love all animals! I also have a fascination of ducks. I had some ducklings I took care of back when my family had a farm. I even taught them to come when called and to jump when I told them to! They're so cute.

I fell in love with ice skating and I would be very happy if I could continue to ice skate in my free time, so if there's a rink where the host family lives, that would be awesome! It really has become something I'm very passionate about. My brother ice skates as well and I often take him to practice and help him improve. Currently I am a part-time instructor at the ice rink in my city. I would be very happy to teach the host family's kids as well, if they wanted to learn.

I'm a very active person even if I am sometimes a little shy. I like going to visit places, seeing museums, and I really like nature. I grew up in the countryside and they were probably some of the best years of my life.

There's a lot more I can write! But I will save it for the interview. :)
