I worked as a nanny for almost 3 years in a family with two kids. I started helping them when the little girl was 1 year old and the elder one was 6 years old. This was just a side job for a couple times a week, but the time I was spending with kids became an essential part of my life.

I also had a pleasure to spend a lot of time with elementary school kids, playing with them and teaching them some handycraft and music, which you can see on the pictures.

I have never worked as an Au pair yet, but I have a rewarding experience of living as a volunteer in a Camphill community in Russia with a family, who adopted one-year-old boy. I lived there for ten months and I used to spend time with the little boy, playing, walking and sometimes putting him to bed. I was also helping around the house, did a lot of gardening, worked in a bakery: I was taking part in all possible kinds of a community village life.
