How memberships work

AuPair.com Premium memberships unlock personalized messaging on the platform. All users can send contact requests and accept or decline requests for free. To continue the conversation after a request is accepted and to exchange contact details, at least one of the two users must be Premium. Learn more about how the messaging system works here

Premium memberships are valid for the selected period and end automatically when the membership expires. No cancellation is required. You can view current prices and all Premium benefits here.

How to cancel a membership

AuPair.com Premium is a one-time payment, not a subscription. This means your membership does not renew automatically, and it expires on its own at the end of the selected period, so in most cases, no cancellation is needed. If you want to cancel because you’ve changed your mind, you can withdraw within 14 days of payment only if Premium features have not been used. To do this, you must contact our customer support (cancellation is handled via support, not by deleting your account). If Premium features were used (e.g., sending/replying to personalized messages or exchanging contact details), a refund is not possible.

Refund rules

In line with AuPair.com’s Refund Policy, you can withdraw from a Premium purchase within 14 days after payment only if the Premium services have not been used. Once Premium features have been used (even partially), for example by sending or receiving personalized messages or accessing another user’s contact details, a refund is excluded.
To request a refund, you need to contact customer support. Also, don’t delete your account while your request is being checked, because that can remove the ability to verify eligibility.

Why payment failed

Payments can fail for simple reasons: insufficient funds, incorrect card details, bank security checks, expired cards, online payment limits, or blocked international transactions. Try again with updated details, or use a different payment method. If the issue continues, contact your bank to confirm that the payment is allowed. Click here to access our bank transfer details.

Invoices and receipts

You can download your payment invoices directly from your AuPair.com account. From the menu, simply click on “Premium Membership > My payments” and find the list of Premium memberships you have purchased. Click on the button “Download” to access your invoice.
