Letter to the family

Hello! I'm Ilgaz. I am a 20 year old psychology student. The reason I want to become an Au Pair is, since I study psychology, we have to decide which major we wanna focus on and I want to focus on children psychology. I want to get to know children more and see how they react to certain situations. I also get along with children well. I have a 6 year old cousin I'm babysitting now and I also babysat a 9 year old. Helped her with her homeworks, spent time with her such as swimming, going for a walk, playing cards etc. I also babysat my mom's friend's daughter who is 2 years old now. I can cook healthy meals, spend time with them as a sister. Help parents with their busy schedule. I had a dog but she passed away unfortunately a while ago. I also have a cat. So I get along with pets aswell. I love spending time outside.

Experience

The girl I babysat who is 9 years old was a very active child. We would swim everyday for day to night and she wouldn't even get tired. I would try to push her to do her homework or read books that her teachers gave but she wouldn't want it. But with sweet words I helped her with her homeworks and we read books for 20 mins. She saw me as her big sister even in my first week. The reason I want to become an Au Pair abroad is, I want to experience other cultures. I want to learn from life. I want to see how other people live, how they react. I also want to learn languages and get better with communications with people. I am already good with people but I want to see how the people I haven't seen in my life is. I also want to transfer to Yonsei in Korea so I want to experience how Koreans live and learn the language. I've been to Korea before and I really liked it there so I want to study at Yonsei.
