My name is Anna. I come from the small Russian town of Serow. When I was a kid I loved reading a lot of books. I wanted to be a writer. When I was 13 I started studying English intensively. That really changed my life.

At the age of 14 I went to Europe as a tourist and also visited Berlin. At that time I couldn't speak a German word, but I fell in love with Germany. The experiences I got inspired me to explore other cultures further. I could no longer imagine my future without a foreign language. So, I decided to become a translator so that I could always be in the intercultural atmosphere.
Then I started my bachelor's degree at the university, where I studied foreign languages. Besides English and German, I also studied French. But the German language will be my great love. I have been studying for 3 years and am enthusiastic about how beautiful German culture and language are. I like listening to different podcasts on Deutch and learning more about everyday life.
For me, the au pair year means a particularly great opportunity in my professional plans, because I can quickly improve my German and get to know the culture. In addition, I am sure that language and culture go side by side and to think about a language you have to know a lot about mentality and culture. I believe that living in Germany in a beautiful family will help me on this. I will also have a lot of fun playing with children because I enjoy doing something with them.
