Dear Host Family,

My name is Nerea, I am 19 years old, and I am from Galicia, a beautiful region in northern Spain. I am currently studying for a mid-level training program in Health Emergencies because I have always been passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in people's lives.

I would love the opportunity to live with a host family abroad because I enjoy working with children, and I believe being an au pair would allow me to combine that passion with the opportunity to experience a new culture and improve my English in a natural and immersive way.

I have some experience caring for my 9-year-old cousin, and I truly enjoy spending time with children—playing, helping them with homework, or simply keeping them company. I have also volunteered for the Red Cross, supporting people with reduced mobility, which taught me a lot about empathy and responsibility.

I consider myself a cheerful, respectful, and organized person. People often tell me I'm very empathetic and responsible, and I always try to treat others with kindness and care. In my free time, I love reading, writing, visiting museums, learning new things (like sign language, which I recently started), dancing, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
