Dear Host Family,

Hi! My name is Laura, I am 17 years old and I come from Spain. I will begin studying Engineering in 2025, but before starting this exciting new chapter, I would love to spend time abroad as an Au Pair and Nanny. I’m a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic person who absolutely loves spending time with children and being around animals.

One of the main reasons I want to become an Au Pair is because I see this experience as a beautiful way to connect with a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow personally while doing something meaningful. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of children, whether it’s helping my younger cousins with homework, playing with them, or keeping them entertained with creative activities. I find a lot of joy in contributing to their learning and happiness, and I’m excited about the idea of becoming part of a new family, even if just for a while.

I believe I would be a great addition to your family because I’m warm, open-minded, and very adaptable. I’m used to being independent and responsible, and I genuinely enjoy helping others. I know that hosting someone is a big decision, and I would be respectful of your home, your routines, and the way you raise your children. I don’t see this only as a job, but as an opportunity to build a strong and positive relationship with your family.

As for my qualifications, I have a strong background in languages: I speak Spanish natively, Galician fluently, I have a C2 level in English, B2 in French (almost C1), and A2 in German (close to B1). I believe this can be a great advantage when helping children learn or practice a second language, or even when supporting them with homework. I'm also a quick learner, organized, and always willing to help wherever needed.
