Pia (17 / Ms. ), German, Unemployed living in Germany looking for Au Pair job in USA for 10-12 Months

My name is Pia and I am a 17 year old teenager from Germany. I have been playing Handball with joy for my whole life and love playing with balls. But not just that I also like swimming, riding, skiing, climbing and am always open for new outside activities.
A few years ago the daughter of my parents friends worked as an Au Pair for a year. She told us about it and I was amazed. Since than it was clear to me that I wanted to work as an Au Pair myself. I want to get to know knew people and experience different cultures. But also want to get experience in living with children since I never had younger Siblings.
Even though my contact information say that I have no experience with children I am indeed working on that. I never had the time or opportunity, but I am planing on getting experience by helping out in Kindergarten and start babysitting. Also I already have worked as a helper in a Holidayhouse for people with disabilities. That also means that I don't mind working hard or longer than needed and have patience witb people who can't work as fast as others. But I also love having fun with people by doing crazy or funny things. In School I chose educational theory in my Abitur so I also have the theoretical knowledge of how to behave in front of children.
Additionally I decided to train a team last year. I was working with 12 to 13 year old Boys and tried to teach them Handball.
Even though I might not know everything by now I am willing to inform myself and will always try my best to fill in your needs.
